Technology is at our fingertips everyday , by taking advantage of our resources we can communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents. A blog is a way to share information about any topic to assist the community. Within a school system its important to keep open communication with parents because it increases parent involvement which in turn benefits the student/teacher relationship. Teacher collaboration is important sharing ideas that encourage students to excel. Blogging allows teachers to reflect on their experiences for personal growth. Blogging is a powerful professional development tool and when we learn something new we are able to record it.
